He is an accomplished and results-driven professional with over 22 years of experience in Infrastructure Financing, Corporate Banking and Corporate Finance. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Management Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, and was Canadian International Development Agency scholar with Masters Degree in Marine Affairs from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, coupled with an Advanced Diploma in Ship Finance from Lloyds Maritime Academy and an Oxford Executive Leadership Program certificate from the Said Business School. He also obtained Executive Management and Leadership training certificates from renowned institutions like the Wharton Business School, and Columbia University.
His impressive career spans key roles at leading financial institutions, including First Bank Nigeria Limited, Zenith Bank Plc and Fidelity Bank, where he participated in structuring corporate finance debt raising deals through direct lending, syndication, co-financing and bilateral funding with local banks and international multilateral/development finance institutions. Before joining The Infrastructure Bank Plc, he spent 13years at First Bank as Business Manager Corporate Banking (Infrastructure) and was responsible for deal origination, debt arranging & structuring and advisory services covering Power, Construction, Maritime, Aviation, Gas Infrastructure and Renewable Energy.
He is a Member of Chartered Institute of Finance Professional, USA, a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Finance and Control and Member, Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport.
